choreography nerddom continues

using the imovie thing was really useful for choreographing. we could quickly skip to the bit we wanted to choreograph, rather than hacking about with the actual song as an audio file alone. we could look at our table and see which phrases needed doing, and also which phrases had what going on, in terms of the music and other moves.
then we'd get up, listen to that section (and preceding/following sections) and just move about, seeing what worked, what moves we were inspired to do.
then we entered them into the table.
then we'd go through and dance all the stuff that we'd choreographed and adjust if it worked.

it was simple, effective and unstressy. crinkle and i work well together on this stuff: it's important to be able to say 'that was great' or 'that was ok' or 'yes, we could put do that. but it would be shit'. and to not cry or get angry or defensive. it's important to listen to each other, to watch each other do the moves, to do the moves ourselves.

you can't just decide on a move from the name - you need to feel it, see it, hear it.
