what's fleeces?

winter is here.
so i have finally finished a fleecey jumper thingy i started ages ago. i stuffed it up, though (put the center back edge on the selvedges rather than the fold) so i had to improvise - hence the racing stripes. it's pink fleece with little flower patterns through it. the red trousers i made with fleece i bought at the same time (about a year or two ago) and made into trousers The Squeeze coopted. he liked the dinosaur pattern.
this outfit - all fleece + pink furry slippers - is perhaps the most static-inducing outfit i have ever worn. it might not be the most flattering outfit on earth, but it does rock.

note the cushion i'm kneeling on: new, purple green and red corduroy patchwork, filled with fabric remnants to match the first floor cushion. so heavy D couldn't lift it on her own.

also note: the laptop plugged into the stereo. nerd. big old music nerd. nerd!
