In about 1964, through the summer holidays, every week morning at 7am, Professor Julius Sumner Miller hosted a very raw TV show titled 'Why Is It So?'
He did simple obvious clever funny demontrations of various 'reactions' - we all loved it.
I like to think of the hundreds of practicing sci/phys people now aged 55-60, who were inspired by it.
