blogs i've read lately.

you'd never know it from my links over there on the left, but i'm actually a keen blog-reader. i have kind of predictable taste: i like the blogs by sassy ladeez with caustic wit and possibly a child under 5 to make jokes about. i like the beautiful illustrators' blogs - the eye candy ones - with no function other than loveliness. and i like the blogs with some pretty seriously lefty politics.

yeah, yeah, i know. utterly predictable. but heck, it's meant to be procrastination not some kind of lifestyle choice... oh, wait.

but anyhoo, today i discovered tirade, via one of those blog-mommies (ahahahhahahahahaha... yeah, right.like that's funny. that NYtimes article is shitting about three quarters of the blog world right now).
and tirade is lovely. it belongs to an illustrator guy who works for pixar. so it's double-nerd - computers and illustratory stuff.

i'm also discovering some phdblogs as well, mostly via this phdblogs ring. neat.

because i've been cruising some academic blogs lately, and they're mostly lecturers, etc, rather than phd people...

so yeah, blogging. i dig it.
