elephants

my tram goes through the park and past the zoo on its way into the city. every time i crane my neck to see if i can see an elephant. every now and then i see a giant elephant rump peeking over the fence. last couple of days i've seen giant elephants peeking over the fence. it's way, way cool. like getting a free something. or a present. elephants are big and brown. not grey. brown. melbourne ones are anyway. i am considering going to the zoo just to see some.
kind of ironic as i've spent many many evenings at the zoo over the last few years in melbourne, doing promo stuff for swing. free entry to see the bands and dance. and see the animals. only animals i've ever seen have been the reptiles and frogs. waaaay exciting.
oh well.
